Simply Smokin’ at Bagby

You know you are in a GEORGIA state park when you discover the group pavilion is outfitted with a barbecue house, a building for the exclusive purpose of barbecuing. There was an enormous charcoal grill (foreground) and an even bigger smoker. Here, our friend is opening one of three iron lids by means of the pulley system.

The smoke was drawn out this fine, brick chimney.

Wouldn’t mind crashing a party there.

I would love to get a chance to use that pit.
What a great resource to have at a state park.
