Fay's Eye Was Gray and Watery

One of our first posts was about visiting in St. Augustine in December and enjoying a morning walk on the boardwalk over the salt marsh at the Tolomato River. You may recall these pictures:

This was taken yesterday by our son and wife at the same spot in the eye of Fay:

Fay's eye passed over our older son and wife in St. Augustine yesterday and over our younger son in Gainesville this morning. If it stays on its current track, we will also take a turn here in Tallahassee.

Give me a tropical storm over an earthquake any day!
