We had not been up to Grady County over the state line into Georgia in quite some time. In fact, not since Tropical Storm Fay came through and dumped 22 inches of rain on us in parts of 3 days ---and 17 of that in one day. We were aware that the Ochlockonee River had flooded big time then. But still, we were amazed to see tree trash hung in the old and unused train trestle at the Hadley Ferry crossing. This is a really high bridge and you can not tell that from the picture, but you may be able to see the branches and logs that apparently washed onto it when it was at high flood.
