We stopped for lunch at the Islamorada Fish Company, a restaurant we later learned is connected to the Bass Pro Shop next door. The food was good, though there was no lunch menu. B and I split an entree ---which was plenty. We had grouper, prepared creatively.
The above was taken from the little beach by the restaurant.
We ate in a tiki hut-type facility. Rather unfortunately, they had zipped on clear plastic walls to keep out the cool-ish wind. It might have made it more comfortable for some, but it was at the cost of view and ambiance. Here is a shot into the ceiling.
This was a large structure and these fish models were huge.
There was a boardwalk to get out there and I loved the design of the support boards.
There were tarpon playing in the water, along with the occasional brown pelican.
We took several pictures by the gorgeous water out from the little beach.

I love it when people take the time to add a little dash to everyday structures. I am stealing that fish beam idea for my next pole barn.
