After our arrival in Key Largo, we took an evening ride around the neighborhood! The area is full of canals so that many have access to the ocean, Gulf and bays.
It was fun to see a neighbor’s house (out on a point with quite a view) and his “toys.” He has one or more of everything, it seemed. This is the house.
A few “toys”:
A few more:
And then there was the golf cart and the electric car and the other cars and the grills, and, and, and! So this is how the other folks play.
There were lots of boats and homes to admire.
There was a pirate ship out in the bay. This was my best shot from a moving boat. They are big on pirates down there.
On the wall of one of the canals we passed in the boat was a large iguana, lying still as the stone it was on.
And so the fun had begun.
