Park City, Utah

To escape the campground heat, we went to Park City for the day. We were unaware of the Sunday Silly Market until we arrived.

We did not really figure out the silly part of the market, but it was a fun way to spend a Sunday morning. It was mostly one long street in what is known as Old Town ---and it was very popular. It was a good thing we got there early as parking would have been a problem later.

We had a good lunch in a saloon-style BBQ restaurant on the main street. The moose above was in the stairwell that led to the downstairs bar. We sat in the window and enjoyed people watching. Though it was  originally a mining town, Park City gave the impression that it was classier than the people visiting.

This giant moose holding a shopping bag was at the entrance to an outlet center.

Park City is known for its hosting of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Some of the large facilities were obvious.
