On this day, thirty years ago, our second son was born. He has brought us much joy as well as a few of our gray hairs. We could not be more proud of all of our family, which recently enlarged by one.
Both grandmothers at the baby shower:
Little E arrived in late May. She is perfect. Her three-year-old brother named her Smokey Banokey and we have all been heard to call her Smokey, especially when that was the only name she had.
B and I had two sons and then, one grandson.
The feminine pronouns have given us some challenge. And also the plurality to say, we are going to see our "grandchildren," instead of "grandson".
We are getting there.
