Growing Our Own Carrots

This spring was our first attempt at growing carrots and we have been pretty happy with the results. This was from one harvest. We still have few in the ground, though they are really more of a cool weather crop.


We have discovered that sometimes, bearded gardeners grow bearded carrots!

OOh! Are you planting some for fall too? I'm going to. I'm going to plant some in the ground and some in containers. We have a big fall veggie garden planned. My crop last year was pathetic. I've done some research and hope I have better results this year. What's your trick to such pretty carrots? :)
