E. O.'s Eagles

When we were driving back from the wedding, we happened by the E. O. Wilson Biophilia Center at Nokuse Plantation in Freeport in west Florida.  B had heard of the  place and so we stopped in.

There were two  handsome bald eagles in a large pen near the parking lot. They were obviously there because of their disabilities and they looked very well cared for.

We talked to some of the people there and learned that we were at an education center. The inside of the exhibit hall was impressive. They said that the designers came from Dollywood to create the very lifelike trees that are actually made of metal.

Go to their website to see photographs and learn more.
