Good info, FC, and no, though I am always on the look-out on Florida beaches for sharks' teeth, I did not find any there and did not know that it is a good beach to look.
When I was a young teen, I found a megalodon (giant shark) tooth washed up on the beach at Venice, FL. What a prize!
The S of SNB is a kindergarten teacher in a public school in Tallahassee, Florida. Her better half is B. He is self-employed as a lawnscaper. They have two fine adult sons --and an amazing daughter-by-marriage. They are the grandparents of one delightful little boy and his sweet, infant sister!

Lovely shot.
Did you find any fossil shark teeth. Vilano is good for that.
I thought that was a surfer in the background until I enlarged the picture! I could just hear him saying ut-oh!
