Florida Flipper

This dolphin was cruising the beach at Vilano when I was there.

In water that shallow, he's probably after the young whiting and pompano that scoot back in the wash of each breaker.

Did you find any fossil shark teeth. Vilano is good for that.

Good info, FC, and no, though I am always on the look-out on Florida beaches for sharks' teeth, I did not find any there and did not know that it is a good beach to look.

When I was a young teen, I found a megalodon (giant shark) tooth washed up on the beach at Venice, FL. What a prize!
