I recently found this large spider on the inside of the screen porch. When B came, I showed it to him and asked him to assist me to get the auto(only) focus set.
It was only then that I saw that the star-like texture on her was her offspring, backpacking.
Here is the picture cropped in. It is not a great shot, but you can see her numerous babies a little better. It makes me glad to have removed her outside the screen porch when we did.
Look at that face. Tell me she doesn’t look tired!

I am sooooo creeped out.
Spiders nooooo. I am trying learn not to freak out at spiders. They are truely interesting and some are so cool looking but they just create the get it away from me reaction.
Hmmmm irrational fear I suppose we all have it about something.
