Candy Corn and Fluff

Purple Gallinules' bright beaks are sometimes compared to candy corn. They are such colorful birds. Using their huge yellow feet, they "walk on water".

And here comes Fluff. This is a gallinule chick. It is designed to hide in the reeds, so it has none of the adult's flashy colors yet.

But it has the water-walking figured out.
