Cotton Hill Playground

It wasn’t cotton making the playground white; it was snow. This was the day after the snowy day in central Georgia.

As a kindergarten teacher, I spend time at playgrounds so I found a snowy playground interesting and thought my students would too.

Remembering the old tongue on the flagpole trick, the swing held no appeal to me; but the merry-go-round was fun to ride on---and challenging, with the ice-coating.

But the coolest was the slide.

The more snow-experienced would not be surprised to see how it had slid down the slide and folded itself neatly at the bottom. But for us, this was a new phenomenon. When our older son saw this picture, he remarked that roofs may do this up north.
