Made a quick run down to the lighthouse on Sunday. We had not been in many weeks and thought we might be able to see something before it got too, too steaming hot.
We were hardly past the visitor’s center when we saw this young buck.
While we watched him feed and fight off the biting bugs, his bud came down the road looking for him.
That is quite a pivot.

Beautiful, but it's almost time for him to get a lot more cautious.
