Yakkity Yak: Don’t Pull Back!

Well, I did it!

I finally got the kayak out of the garage and took it out and our older son taught me how to handle it. He said it handles very well. It actually has a lot of wiggle and lean room before it tips.

I had only been in a kayak once before and then only to paddle a small circle by a landing. I still need a lot of practice to learn to push----not pull. (I will be hearing that in my sleep!)  A trip around the lake had me whipped!
