In my neighborhood in Louisville, KY I see a house that will have a sign spray painted on a bed sheet and hung from the gutters: "Welcome Home Michael" once or twice a year. There are flags in the yard so I'm thinking Michael is KY Guards maybe? In this same neighborhood I've seen stars in the wondows too.Fayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10227397761350236459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2964467177762746314.post-63341947473806098102010-05-31T09:19:40.413-04:002010-05-31T09:19:40.413-04:00I love how small towns go all out in a big way to ...I love how small towns go all out in a big way to celebrate and remember the people who served. I think they are in closer touch with themselves as Americans than people who are caught up in living their own version of the American dream in a big, anonymous place.Sayrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16350593991157139017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2964467177762746314.post-16749284582042020982010-05-31T08:23:38.810-04:002010-05-31T08:23:38.810-04:00How patriotic...what a nice way to remember our fa...How patriotic...what a nice way to remember our fallen vets.
