The Dillard House in Dillard, Georgia is well-known for its delicious down-home meals, served family style.
This is the original stone farmhouse on the property. It is now used for overflow dining and other uses.
The main dining room is on the far right of this picture above. It is a lovely, airy room with mountain and valley views in the distance and near views of hundreds of tulips.
They were so lovely, I went a little crazy with the tulip pictures. Tallahassee tulips have been gone for many weeks.
But here is a sampling of why folks come back, year after year. This is our breakfast that was served to the table. There are over 20 different serving dishes and they will refill anything you request.
There was also a huge continental buffet table that was open to us but we certainly did not need any more food.
One night, we had dinner there and the abundance of delicious food was, again, spectacular.

Yum, I remember the Dillard House from summers spent with my grandparents in Franklin, North Carolina. A few years ago, I made my husband drive two hours out of our way so we could eat dinner there! Have fun! The tulips are lovely.
Wow! It still looks like spring there! The tulips look fantastic.
It's nice to see spring - it seems so brief here (about a week or two).
I am ready to go again.
